Actually I liked Vegas. I was disappointed Ronon wasn't in it but it was well done.

Yeah, it was a really good episode and probably one of the best written of the season, but i didn't feel connected to it because it wasn't truly Stargate. I think that is a kind of series that "The Flan" would be great in.

It just fits with him, and then we have The Man and The Flan, and that fits too. I hope they continue to be friends. I'd be bummed if they drift apart now that they're not working together.

Especially with the age difference, although having kids means they both have more in common with each other than the others.

I think David keeps in touch with Rachel, he twittered he had lunch with her last week.

I hope Joe doesn't eventually develop an angst against Jason if all Jason's work on HBO and in the movies takes off.

I know he'll have a fan base but I guess it'll depend on how it's promoted. With Ron Pearlman in it might help a lot.

Now the HBO Throne of Games I really want to see that.

Interesting news, a reason for watching 2 Stargate Universe episodes.

SGU / Atlantis crossover is a go!

Stargate Universe has featured appearances from several members of the original cast of Stargate SG-1 during its first season. But what about Stargate Atlantis? That crossover that fans have been hoping for is officially happening!

Executive producer Joseph Mallozzi confirmed on his blog that two members of the Atlantis cast have been signed to appear in an episode of SGU’s second season. The crossover will happen in episode 15, “Seizure,” written by Remi Aubuchon (likely airing in early 2011).

Season Two’s thirteenth episode, “Alliances,” is currently filming.

Of course, bringing in faces from the city of Atlantis means that certain outstanding questions from the end of that series need to be answered — or at least hinted at. Is the city still in San Francisco Bay (“Enemy At the Gate”)? If its gate supercedes Stargate Command for incoming wormholes, has Earth relocated its Stargate program to the city? And are Ronon and Teyla ever returning to the Pegasus Galaxy to continue the fight against the Wraith?

“There was a reluctance to move ahead with an SGA crossover, particularly on my part,” Mallozzi said, “because the feeling was it would step on the timing of the SGA movie, Stargate: Extinction, the events of which directly [followed] the Atlantis series finale, ‘Enemy At the Gate.’ But given the delay on the movie front and the idea premise pitched out by Remi Aubuchon and Brad Wright, it was decided to go ahead with the crossover. Not a big deal, but it will require some changes to the Stargate: Extinction timeline which, in turn, will beg a host of questions, some of which will be answered in episode #15, some of which won’t … at least not right away.”

Mallozzi assured fans that having the characters put in an appearance on SGU won’t have a negative impact on the Atlantis movie. (That script has been written and is awaiting a go-ahead from MGM.) “The crossover episode will only have a minimal effect on Stargate: Extinction (the heart of the story remains unchanged), and no effect on Stargate: Revolution,” he said.

For Extinction, the SGU appearance “would only necessitate some minor re-jigging to the opening.”

Mallozzi still expects the film will be produced, eventually.

Read more now at Joseph Mallozzi’s blog. Season Two of Stargate Universe begins this fall!

This isn't really anything note worthy, but Zelenka was on Fringe the other week! I forgot to mention it then, but he played a real bad guy, no accent!

It's weird when people show up in other things, and it's official. I petitioned the networks and they agreed, Fringe is being renamed Bangs.
